Guardianes del Tiempo

Este espacio es creado para honrar a todos los guardianes del tiempo quienes con bravura y devoción, por siglos, mantuvieron el calendario dando sus vidas, a causa de la intolerancia racial y religiosa por parte de la invasión Europea.

A la Nación  Quiche y Yucateka que ayudaron con Glifos. A la Nación Zapoteca por sus oraciones y a la gente Mam por continuo asesoramiento. A Don Ochi, de la nación C'hortí, quien guió y enseñó a Gina en su niñez. A la Nación Cakchike, donde el padre de Gina Miranda Kanbalam murió defendiendo los derechos de la gente

Por mi parte David Terrer Ruiz, investigador independiente  del calendario Haab y colaborador de Gina Miranda Kanbalam desde 2011. Especializado en la reconstrucción matemática del calendario solar mesoamericano, desarrollo los periodos backabs de 13 baktunes e inicio de  la cuenta completa (5.220 años) con base en documentación indexada. 

La cuenta de los días que mostramos en este espacio, es la cuenta que desde tiempos ancestrales la Nación C'hortí de Guatemala, mantienen a lo largo del tiempo. 

This space is created to honor all the guardians of time who, with bravery and devotion, maintained the calendar for centuries, giving their lives because of racial and religious intolerance on the part of the European invasion.

To the Quiche and Yucatecan nations who helped with glyphs. To the Zapotec nation for their prayers and to the Mam people for their continuous advice. To Don Ochi, of the C'hortí nation, who guided and taught Gina in her childhood. To the Cakchike Nation, where Gina Miranda Kanbalam's father died defending the rights of the people.

For my part, David Terrer Ruiz, independent researcher of the Haab calendar and collaborator of Gina Miranda Kanbalam since 2011. Specializing in the mathematical reconstruction of the Mesoamerican solar calendar, I developed the 13 baktun backabs periods and the beginning of the complete count (5,220 years) based on indexed documentation. 

The count of days that we show in this space is the count that the C'hortí Nation of Guatemala has maintained throughout time since ancient times.
